Tennessee State Fair
When: Sept 6 – 15
Where: Tennessee State Fairgrounds, 500 Wedgewood Ave, Nashville
What: It’s only one of the biggest events in the state, with live entertainment, tons of local arts and crafts, agricultural exhibits, delicious food, thrilling rides, educational experiences, animals, and fun for all ages.
Music City Food & Wine Festival
When: Sept 20 – 22
Where: Bicentennial Park, Walk of Fame Park
What: The area’s top chefs, liquor crafters, and tasters convene for a weekend of demos, showcases, meals, tastings, and more.
Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival
When: Sept 21 – 22
Where: Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin
What: A weekend festival featuring some of the best local and national artists across a variety of genres, plus local artisans, and tons of food and drink.
Breakaway Music Festival
When: Oct 11 – 12
Where: Nashville Fairgrounds
What: The largest multi-city music festival in America! Two full days packed full of fun and live performances by top artists like Future, Lil Baby, Fisher, Kaskade, Zeds Dead, and more!
Nashville Oktoberfest
When: Oct 10 – 13
Where: Germantown, Nashville
What: Enjoy four days of food, music, vendors, entertainment, and great brews—as well as events like the Oktoberfest Parade, Bratwurst Eating Contest, Dachshund Derby, and more.

Centennial Craft Fest
When: Oct 19 – 20
Where: Centennial Park, Nashville
What: Celebrate local arts, crafts, and artisans with two days of food, drinks, live music, and handmade goods. There’ll also be an Oktoberfest Pub and a Kids Zone.
36th Annual Pumpkinfest
When: Oct 26
Where: Main Street Franklin
What: It’s the largest family-friendly fall festival in Middle Tennessee, and it’s back for another great year of activities, games, food, drinks, and yes, pumpkins!
